DARRYL ALLADICE is a performance poet/storyteller who grew up in Harlem and Brooklyn, New York. His work has been produced and performed at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Asolo Theater of Florida, Black Box Theater and Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, New York's Schomburg Center, Frederick Douglass Creative Arts Center, City College of New York, and various venues around New York City. During the Summer of 2011, he was selected for a residency at the Vermont Artists Studios and Writing Center in Johnson, Vermont. His collections of poems, Jaundice, and Measuring in Liters focus on his experiences learning to live with Sickle Cell Anemia. -
