We are proud to present critically acclaimed bassist, Christopher Dean Sullivan . Sullivan has worked throughout the US and the world.


His wide range includes jazz traditional art forms to open freestyle expressions, as well as Latin jazz, poetry/spoken word, contemporary and commercial music. He has performed or recorded with Archie Shepp, Sheila Jordan, Yusef Lateef, Odean Pope, Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Jordan, Irene Reid, Charli Persip, Joe Lovano, and Geri Allen, among many others. He is on a myriad of recordings. He has received several awards for his contributions to the arts and to the community, from New York State entities and municipalities the NAACP, the Boys and Girls Club, and received the New York State Council of the Arts Champion for the Arts Award. 

Sullivan has performed and recorded in bass ensembles with Henry Grimes and  Israel “Cachao” Lopez, and appears on poetry releases by Golda Solomon, EJ Antonio, and the Jazz & Poetry Choir Collective.

Christopher Dean Sullivan is also leads clinics and works as a background actor on TV, film and commercials.
